About Us

A Family Tradition of Building Excellence

Excellence shows up in the small decisions, the follow-through, and the way a team treats people throughout the build. That mindset has shaped Seacoast from the beginning. Here’s the story behind our company and the family that leads it.

our story

The Lank Family

The Lank family has been building custom homes in Brunswick County since 2015, when they founded Seacoast Building Company. From day one, the focus has been simple: build with true craftsmanship and pay close attention to the details that make a home feel finished, comfortable, and built to last.

Seacoast is a family-owned custom home builder known for high-end coastal residences shaped by thoughtful design and enduring quality. Rooted in a coastal community, our approach reflects an understanding of both refined living and durable construction. We take a hands-on, relationship-driven approach to every home we build, prioritizing trust, transparency, and personal attention, resulting in homes that are built to last and tailored to the people who live in them.

WE BUILD WHERE IT SUITS YOU

Build In A Community

Some clients already know the community they want, and we’re happy to build there. Seacoast works in a select group of coastal neighborhoods where the setting, amenities, and standards align with the type of custom homes we build. If you’re drawn to a specific community, we’ll help you navigate the details that matter, including design guidelines, architectural review requirements, and the overall flow of the build process. Every home we build in a community is fully custom and designed around your family, your style, and the way you want to live at the coast.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A Clear Path From First Call to Move-In

1

Connect with us

Every home begins with a conversation. In this stage, we take time to understand your vision, goals, timeline, and preferred community. Whether you already have a homesite or are still exploring, this is where we align expectations and outline the path forward.

2

Pre-construction Planning

Pre-construction is where your ideas begin to take shape. During this stage, we review your plans, budget, homesite considerations, and overall project scope. This is where details are clarified, questions are addressed, and a realistic timeline is established before construction begins.

3

Personalize Your Plan

This is where your home becomes uniquely yours. You will refine your layout, review design elements, and select finishes that reflect your style and the way you live. Each decision is made with long-term comfort, functionality, and overall cohesion in mind.

4

Build

With planning complete and selections finalized, construction begins. During this phase, your home takes shape step by step, from foundation to final finishes. Our focus remains on quality craftsmanship, steady progress, and delivering a home built to serve you well for years to come.
